About the Author: Eleanor Farjeon (1881–1965) was a poet and playwright. Best known for her children’s verse and stories, she was also a regular contributor to Punch Magazine and the author of the lyrics of the popular hymn Morning has Broken.Herbert Farjeon (1887–1945) was a drama critic, writer, playwright, and theater manager and researcher. He was the brother of Eleanor Farjeon.
