About the Author: Michael Flynn is a science fiction writer with over a dozen books to his name. He is best known for his four-book Firestar series, the critically acclaimed The Wreck of the River of Stars, and the Hugo Award–nominated Eifelheim. A mainstay of Analog SF, Michael's stories have also appeared in Asimov's, The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Weird Tales, and other venues. He has won the Robert A. Heinlein Award for his work. He lives in Easton, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Margie. Todd McLaren was involved in radio for more than twenty years in cities on both coasts, including Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
