Posting or Shipping your purchase

Is it in stock?

If all the items you put into your shopping cart are marked "In stock ready to post.."then your order will be posted the same day if ordered before 3pm Australian Eastern time on a normal business day. If some or all of your items put into your shopping cart are marked ships in "6-11 business days" or a longer period (for example backorder or special order) your items will be posted as soon as we receive your items from our supplier with the shipping time being an estimate of how long that will be. Note that selecting Express Post or Courier for items with shipping delays will not reduce the shipping delay, just reduce the postal transit time.

We ship via Australia Post within Australia and via SkippyPost overseas

Posting within Australia

We post items either through Australia Post as a standard parcel, or as Express Post. Neither option includes insurance, however Express Post is tracked. We have posted more than 15,000 items through Australia Post over the last six years - most via Standard Post - and loss of anything in the mail is very very rare.

We also offer to some postcodes Courier via Fastway (if your postcode has that option it will show in checkout). Courier includes insurance. Courier is not as fast as Express Post. Courier is via road (not air), but most places receive it in 2-3 days.

As well we offer Registered Post. Registered Post is insured and travels at the same speed or slightly slower than Standard Australia Post parcels.

Express Post - Next Day delivery (when ordered on a business day, if ordered Friday - then the following Monday and items in stock)

Australia Post Standard

Australia Post Standard mail is generally reliable. However why the majority of parcels get there on time there will always be the odd exception that takes 6 days to cross from one side of Adelaide to the other, or takes ten days to get to Newcastle.

Posting to New Zealand and Worldwide

Our New Zealand orders are processed at our New Zealand website www.Audio-Books.co.nz

We post to New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe via Skippy Post. These are sent Economy Airmail, and postage costs are very reasonable, however it is slower. Normal postage transit times are:

UK and Europe: 3 - 5 weeks

USA and Canada : 3 - 5 weeks

The USA currently has increased security requirements for incoming mail, and this can delay the delivery of items even longer than normal. For information on USPS postal delays visit here

Asia (Japan, China etc) 3 - 5 weeks

Middle East 3 - 6 weeks

South Africa 3 - 6 weeks

If you want it faster we can send it Australia Post Airmail - at a higher cost. email us at sales@thehouseofoojah.com, can we can give you a cost, or alternatively we can post it Express Courier International which can be as fast as 4 days (depends on the destination country), however it costs more than 4 times the cost of Economy Airmail.

Australia

Our postage is capped with AudioBooks costing $ 6.95 standard post to post throughout Australia. They are posted in wrapped in bubblewrap and in bubble bags.

United Kingdom (UK)

Most AudioBooks posted to the UK will cost less than 6 British Pounds.

United States (USA)

Most AudioBooks posted to the USA will cost less than US$ 10
